Summer Group runs 

On Mondays and Fridays, we have group runs starting at 8 am at the Wheeler High School Track.  They are not required but it is a great way to get to know some of your fellow teammates before the upcoming season begins.

Summer Running

Summer running is crucial in order to have success during the fall cross country season.  The summer is the time to get in shape, you don't want to start the cross country out of shape.  You want to come in already in shape or at least somewhat in shape to have a productive season.

The document to the right has 4 different summer running plans depending on your skill level and how in shape you are.   A key thing to note, you don't want to rush into running because one of the most common ways runners get injured is by bumping up their milage too quickly.
